# Postman Collection

The API explorer allows you to make requests to Fireberry's API. However, if you prefer to make requests directly from your own computer, we recommend using [**Postman**](https://learning.postman.com/docs/getting-started/introduction/). To get started, click the "Run in Postman" button below.

[![Run in Postman](https://run.pstmn.io/button.svg)](https://god.gw.postman.com/run-collection/4023710-3f9ac3de-d26f-4f22-ae44-1da1d7a77f5c?action=collection%2Ffork\&collection-url=entityId%3D4023710-3f9ac3de-d26f-4f22-ae44-1da1d7a77f5c%26entityType%3Dcollection%26workspaceId%3D30341823-0f2e-4e17-82ad-45042b6207ae)

After forking the collection, you'll need to create an [**environment**](https://learning.postman.com/docs/sending-requests/managing-environments/). After creating an environment, you'll need to set the following two things:

1. An `access_token` needs to be set to your API access token.\
If your not sure where to find your token, check out the explanation [**here**](https://developers.fireberry.com/docs/quick-start#getting-your-api-token).

2. Any other GUIDs that you would like to easily access.

> 📘 Please note
>
> You do not need to edit your environment for requests on different objects. Simply navigate to the endpoint you want to use, and then change the `{{object}}` to any object ID you'd like to access.
